Evaluation
Qualitative Data (personal survey) Qualitative data will be collected through personal interviews. The faculty at this school is very small, which makes this type of collection feasible. This information will reflect the perceptions of the participants on the value and usefulness of the workshop. The importance of participants perceptions cannot be ignored, this will give an indication of how likely the participant will use the information that was delivered in their future instruction. The teachers will also participate in a written survey at the end of the workshops. Quantitative Data Quantitative data will be collected using a multiple-choice posttest at the end of the workshop. This assessment will consist of 10 questions that address the goals and objectives of the workshop. I will review this information to see if there are any common misconceptions that can be addressed in a revision of the workshop delivery. This will also the instructor to know what areas of the workshop worked well. Conclusion A week after the workshop as concluded I will conduct a processing meeting where we will discuss how the lesson went that was developed as part of the workshop. We will also talk about the challenges and successes. Teachers will give input on what can be done to improve the lesson and each will share a finished product from one of their students. |
